Modulift for port handling operations

The Modulift system allows the creation of a custom spreader beam (or more precisely a spreader) using modular components assembled according to user requirements. It is essential to start with a pair of end unit sub-assemblies, to which the required number of struts are added to achieve a span ranging from 400 mm to 4500 mm.

The capacity of the spreader varies depending on its span – see Table B2 for details. The effective lengths of each module are indicated in Table B1 below:

The MOD® spreader beam is the core element of the Modulift product range; a versatile base that can be easily configured to form CMOD® lifting frames, TriMOD frames, as well as the TRUNNION beam without shackles.

Its design is developed using 3D modelling tools and finite element analysis (FEA). It is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001, BS EN and DNV quality standards, and available for same-day collection or next-day delivery.
